OFB- Lets start off with an easy question. Would you rather fight in a zombie war or a robot war? iRobot robots not those Transformers robots.

ELMIFY- Hmm well robots are mechanical and zombies are organic I could kill the zombie but technically its already dead. I could break the robot but it might just repair itself I think this is actually a tough one. Umm if they were iRobot robots, would Will Smith be there? Because that would be awesome.

OFB- Which team are you on, Team Harry Potter or Team Twilight?

ELMIFY- Team Harry Potter, most definitely. I grew up on those books!

OFB- Meekakitty really helped you become mega popular on YouTube, do you know what made her look at your first video? I know that when she tweeted about it I looked!

ELMIFY- I have absolutely no idea but Im extremely grateful that she did!!!

OFB- In one of your videos you said you just found out about the Internet.. Really?

ELMIFY- Ha, no, I had heard of its existence. But I didnt have a whole lot of experience with it until I got to college.

OFB- Besides Meekakitty, is there anyone else you look up to on YouTube?

ELMIFY- There are so many great youtubers out there, it's hard to pick!

OFB- The new iPad looks pretty awesome, do you think youll get one?

ELMIFY- No, I just got my first ipod! I guess Im sort of behind the technology curve.

OFB- Oh no, a meteor is going to strike the Earth in 5 hours and its the end of us, what would you do?

ELMIFY- I cant do disaster scenarios... that movie Deep Impact scared me bad when I was a kid!

OFB- What can we see from Elmify in 2010?

ELMIFY- Ummmm well most people didnt see much of me in 2009, so, lets just say whatever it is, it will be unprecedented!

OFB-Easy first question, zombie war or robot war?  and not those sissy Transformer robots, more or iRobot robots.  (Jk about the sissy party)

CJ -Totally zombie war! It's the coolest kind of war you can have, I pretty much dream about it. I walk through WalMart talking to my girlfriend about why it's the perfect place for defense in the event of a zombie war; I have the whole thing planned out, I can't wait.

OFB-What got you into making YouTube videos?  More specifically tech related videos?

CJ -I've had my YouTube account since 2006, but it was mostly used to save favorites. After buying my first Mac back in March of 2009, YouTube is where I found a lot of my information to learn about my Mac so after I got more comfortable with my own Mac, I wanted to use YouTube as a way to teach others about Macs and show them new and useful software.

OFB-You have the best iMac, newest iPhone, the Magic Mouse, do you ever work or what?  Or have you become a YouTube partner?

 CJ-At the time I bought most of these things, I was employed as an inventory specialist. As of now, I'm looking for something that I can see myself actually sticking with. I mean, what's the point in taking a job you hate? I haven't become a YouTube partner yet, but hopefully that'll change in the coming months.

OFB-Some of your tweets are about hating on other 360 Modern Warfare players, and breaking your controllers, why so much hate I mean it’s just a game right?

CJ-I don't talk too much shit about other players, for the most part, but the reason I break so much stuff when I play is because I'm pretty much a perfectionist and don't like settling for anything less than my best. Especially when the reason that I don't do so well most of the time is because of lag issues on the part of other players.

OFB-What are you looking for in the new iPhone?  It can’t get that much more perfect can it?

CJ-Hopefully more storage capacity, faster processor, a front facing camera for video conferencing (even if it's just on wi-fi), a better rear facing camera (5mp), and I guess multi-tasking for a limited number of apps, but only to shut up the people who like Android and Palm Pre (I personally don't see much use for it).

OFB-Say the iPhone goes to Verizon (dislike!) Are you going to switch or hope they come out with a jailbreak to get it onto AT&T? 

CJ-I doubt it would go to Verizon only because it started with AT&T and I think they're realizing the mistake in only going with one carrier, it's overloading their infrastructure. If it is on both, I'll probably stick with AT&T because the service is better where I live, but I would rather have Verizon because AT&T has proven they're not the most competent company.

OFB-You always find the best Apple Apps for your videos, my question is how, how do you find them and get them for free?

CJ-I find them on various websites and through Google searches for the most part. Sometimes I watch videos by other YouTubers and try to find another piece of software similar so viewers have different choices. I get them for free by emailing the company, providing them with a link to my YouTube so they can see what it is that I do, and then acquire a license for a specific piece of software.

OFB-Finish this sentence off… Steve Jobs is a ___________________________ !

CJ-genius. He has come up with revolutionary ideas and turned them into amazing devices that at one time we didn't even think possible, but now all feel we need because they're just that good. Then he finds ways to improve these products and make them even more appealing, forcing competitors to feel the need to step it up, which not only allows Apple to innovate, but also makes other companies innovative and come up with new ideas in order to compete. So in a way, Jobs is responsible for the growth of not only Apple, but the companies he competes with as well. This all effects the customers directly by giving us new products all the time, the prices of which are driven down by constant competition.

OFB-You can only have 5 songs on your iPhone, what would they be in no specific order?

OFB-What does your girlfriend think about your videos with the super hot ladies as your wallpaper?

CJ-Normally I'll set a more provocative wallpaper right before recording a review for my YouTube channel and then change it to something neutral after I'm finished. The intended purpose of those wallpapers is to reel in the viewers, and it works. She doesn't mind me using them, but she's quick to have me change the image right after the video has been recorded.

Shock Mansion: Shit dude. That is a tough question. Normally I would instantly say a Zombie Apocalypse, purely because we are addicted to zombie movies and have always dreamed about living out that gory, hero saves hot girl, shot gun fuelled dream. But these days it seems that Zombies are so fucken fast, much smarter and are abnormally strong. This is slightly worrying to us. Having said all that, Robots scare the pants off us, specially those little bastards that chased Will Smith around. Zombie Apocalypse it is! Lock and load.

 

OFB: Apple just released the iPad, I think they look pretty sick!  Do you think you'll get one?  I mean come on it's the new hot gadget!

Shock Mansion: We almost bought one instantly. We are always on the look out for rad gadgets that make working while travelling easier for us. That is until we found out you could only open one application at a time. What the fuck are they thinking? We have 7 applications open right now as we chat to you. That, and we don’t think we could handle not having a mouse. Our fingers are already frail and stiff like an 80 year old woman from watching to much internet porn. Besides don’t you think iPad sounds a little like something a female would shove down their pants? Something to think about anyway.

 

OFB: Everything amazing starts from nothing, what do you think the secret to success is?

Shock Mansion: For us it would have to be, never give up. I know you hear that a lot, everybody says the same thing but we live by it. It isn’t as easy as it sounds, but if you have the heart and determination, big things will happen, trust us.

 

OFB: Facebook or Myspace?  Most people have both but it seems like Facebook is taking over!

Shock Mansion: We think Facebook is dominating Myspace these days. How long will it last and what is after Facebook is the question we want to know.

 

OFB: You can only have a playlist of 5 songs, what would your top picks be?

Shock Mansion: In no particular order we would have to say: The Game – Big Money, The Prodigy – Omen, Rob Zombie – American Witch, Dizzee Rascal – Bonkers, Yelawolf – Pop The Trunk.

 

OFB: What was the decision to stop Crooked Uniform?  I'm sure it would take off like wildfire here in the US!

Shock Mansion: Haha yeah, we get so many people/stores asking us for it, it’s becoming a little ridiculous. We can tell you we have it simmering in the background, getting it prepared properly so when it does return this year we are ready for the craziness.

 

OFB: What's a day in the life of running Shock Mansion?

Shock Mansion: Most days for us recently consist of long hours of work. Start the day with a double shot coffee and blog until our eyes bleed. The moment that is done we shift our attention to all our collaborations that are coming up. Shock Mansion x Osiris Shoes, Shock Mansion x Famous Stars and Straps, Shock Mansion x Afends Clothing, and now there is talk about a Shock Mansion x Dragon Eyewear collaboration, stay tuned for that. I could sit here and tell you we smoke weed all day from hand rolled joints made by naked strippers but its just not the case haha. We love what we do, so we work around the clock.

 

OFB: Shock Mansion inspired me to be a blogger and start my own site, do you have any advice to people wanting to start their own blog?

Shock Mansion: The only advice I can suggest is don’t hesitate, just do it. Everything is moving online these days.

 

OFB: What is the best pick up line to get the ladies?

Shock Mansion: G’day, I’m from Shock Mansion. Then you sit back and watch the panties drop. Haha, we joke, we joke…or do we?

 

OFB: All you guys are so thin and built!  What's the secret?

Shock Mansion: Constantly running from the police will do surprising things to your body image ;) We have a gym at the house which is perfect not only for exercise but to vent frustrations. Because we have so many tattoos people constantly ask to see them. So looking fit and healthy is pretty important to us.

 

OFB: I'm personally excited for 2010 and can't wait to see what it brings!  Any big plans for Shock Mansion in the making?

OFB-Let's start off with a good question that is on everyone's minds these days.. Would you rather fight in a Zombie apocalypse or a robot war?  And I'm not talking about Transformers, more of a iRobot war. 

TR-Haha I was expecting a different question but let's see, I've always been a fan of the Resident Evil gaming series. So, my answer is to be involved in a Zombie apocalypse war!

OFB-Apple just released the iPad, I think they look pretty sick!  Do you think you'll get one?  I mean come on it's the new hot gadget!

TR-Yeah its does and I definitely plan on getting one. I heard there a few glitches but nothing too serious. I'm actually really looking forward to getting an ipad because of its portability. Normally I carry my laptop with me, but it will be nice to carry an ipad rather than a MacBook. Plus the ipad will be more portable.  

OFB-Everything amazing starts from nothing, what do you think the secret to success is?

TR-That's a really good question. I think the secret to success revolves around many factors. You have to be committed, diligent in your work, persevere and overcome adversity, but most importantly you need to be willing to succeed. Ultimately, the secret to success is the way you think.  If you want to be successful you need to control your input. Why? because the input that you allow into your head become thoughts. These thoughts manifest into ideas which come out as words. The words you speak influences you to take action and do things. When you take the same actions, you create a habit. These habits finally represent your character. And your character will determine you destiny, which can be a success or not. Unfortunately, most people rarely figure this out. 

OFB-Who has been one person that has influenced you to make you be the person who you are today?

TR-One person that has influenced me to become the person I am today? Well that's a tough one because I surround myself around people of good influence. I'd have to say it's a guy by the name of Brad. About 2 years ago, I attended a business seminar. The night of the event, this guy named Brad, who is a self made multi-millionaire spoke about his life and what it took to build a company. He was bold and spoke with great passion. As he spoke that night, I felt like he was speaking directly at me. He influenced me to feel great, feel bold, like I could do anything I wanted in life...and that was his message for the night. Brad influenced me to really embrace who I was, which has led me to where I am today. I spend hours reading books on success, leadership, self growth and it has given me a great insight on life and business. It is because of Brad that I believed in myself again. It is the reason why I invest in myself, so I can invest in others.

TR-Yeah, Facebook has been taking over for awhile now. I have both but I like Facebook better. A lot more of the people I know are on there. Myspace is cool and all but, I'm not really digging all the new stuff that they have been doing. Like the Status update.

TR-I would pick Eye of the Tiger, Gonna Fly Now (Rocky Theme), Draw the Line, Neighborhood Music and Forever by Drake.

TR-Well since everything is online, I don't have to worry about any overhead or employees. But as far running it, I  just always make sure that I am learning and growing as a person.

TR-"Damn, if being sexy is a crime, your guilty as charged!" haha No, that was a joke. The best pick up line is just to be real. Be legit, be who you are.
